Neighbourhood come together to play ball games with lad with Down syndrome
A dad arranges for the neighbourhood to unite to play ball games outside his home so his son with Down syndrome can connect with his peers through sport.Devon DowDell, 47, started setting up the games on weekends when he noticed son Jack, 14, was great at kicking.He realised it was a way for the teen to enjoy a sport alongside his neighborhood friends. Now the regularly come together outside Jack's home to play a game where the teen kicks a ball into a bucket on the other side of the road.And they all go on a trip to get a Slurpee afterwards.
