Drunk passengers arrested at Gatwick for causing 'tequila terror' on flight
Seven 'drunk and unruly' passengers were arrested by armed police after causing 'tequila terror' on a flight to Gatwick from Cancun.Fellow passengers said the group of men and women had been swigging from large bottles of duty-free-bought tequila and began arguing aggressively midway through the cross-Atlantic flight from Mexico. One eyewitness said he was appalled by the 'disgusting' language used by the group, as terrified young families also awoke to the chaotic scene unfolding this morning (01/10). A spokesperson for Sussex Police said: #&34;Police are investigating a report of a disturbance on board a flight inbound to London Gatwick from Cancun on October 1.#&34;Officers have spoken with passengers and crew.#&34;Anyone with information is asked to report it to Sussex Police online, quoting serial 224 of 01/10.#&34;TUI has been contacted for comment.
